Differences between male and female yellow bellied turtles

Male and female yellow-bellied turtles differ in size, tail shape, claws, and movement.

Females have a larger size with a shorter and thinner tail. In addition, the movements of female yellow-bellied turtles are less active, unlike the male yellow-bellied turtle, which has a smaller size with a long and thick tail shape. Meanwhile, the movement of male turtles is much more active than females.
